Once the world was bright and colourful. But no more. The changes were slow, as the light of the world began to fade away. The stars themselves began to fall from the sky into the dark, black world below. Now people don't know where they are, where to go or what to do. Only one person can save us but he must be quick or the last source of light will fade forever. Darkness is a fun platforming game where you have to explore the dark to find the light.

I couldn't get further than the level where the enemies followed after me. i explored the whole place but couldn't find anything but walls.

Music dosent fit in well and thats what makes it fit in :P

Yes, I actually thought that it could get boring quickly which is why I didn't put to many levels in to make it a long game, but it turned out being a harder game than I had planned.
As for the music, I would like to add a better track, but good, more original music is hard to come by. If you have a place I could get better music, or any other ideas for added features or something to go into the game, please let me know. I would love to hear them. And thank you for the kind words and the help! I really appreciate it.

Ahh... I see you used the Trapped! 2008 graphics on YoYogames. A very different platformer, but it can get boring and repetitive after a short while. However, I do like the interface and I like the gameplay. It just needs to be tweaked to perfection.
I also think the music could be changed. It does not give the feel that the stars are going out, it seems more like you are entering happyland. I was hoping for more suspense with the music.
Neertheless, keep working, it is a good game.

Thanks for telling me. When I it was tested, some levels were skipped, (this being on of them.) That annoyance should be fixed (as well as a few other bugs no one found.) thanks for the feedback guys!

Level 3 is impossible. That place where you're supposed to push down a block on those spikes, so you don't die. Well' it doesn't work. You die anyways. So it's impossible to get past that place. Apart from that this game was fun, somewhat hard to play though but that's just good. Love the music and simple graphics which reminds me A LOT of Kaipuu and some other games, and my own game Seputus. While you play you don't notice the absence of soundeffects, which it good since it has none.
The concept and gameplay is original, hard to play, and fun at the same time. Good work! But as I said, level 3 is impossible.

ohh this is difucult. Anyway the atmosphere and music is very nice. Lack of sound efects is kinda welcomed here since it doesnt bother you from the game. Very plesent that it jumps right to the begining of game when i die with no splashscreen or anything. Anyway i got to 3rd level i think and its just too much. Make simple games a little less dificult. My advise. I also have problem of making games kinda easy for beginers. We developers play it over and over and ned a little challenge in every level. Yeah this is dificult thing to learn. Good luck. Next time make easyer games. Let people finish few of your games get to know you better then they will be more willing to spend more time on you more dificult games.
